How do I know which bracket to use with my PLASMA TV/SCREEN?
Two things will determine which of our brackets is a perfect match for your Plasma equipment:
• Screen Size Our Plasma screen brackets have a universal fitting, so simply choose the bracket that supports the size of your screen, 42 inches, for example. Use the handy bracket finder to make your choice.
• Television Weight As an additional precaution, it is advisable to check the weight of your TV to ensure it is within the maximum load limits of the bracket, as shown in the product description. Our Plasma brackets are universal, heavy duty and hold up to 75kg! (165lbs) so you shouldn’t have a problem. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Back to top
How do I know which bracket to use with my LCD/TFT TV/MONITOR? Three things will determine which of our brackets is a perfect match for your LCD Screen: • Screen Size Choose the bracket that supports your screen size, 32 inches, for example, from the bracket finder.
• VESA Specification Check the VESA specification of your equipment. This should be marked on your monitor as, VESA 100 or VESA 100x100. Match your VESA specification with the bracket which supports that VESA standard. If your LCD/TFT TV/Monitor/Screen does not have a VESA specification, you can use our Universal brackets to accommodate your screen.
• Television Weight As an additional precaution, it is advisable to check the weight of your LCD/TFT TV/Monitor/Screen and compare it to the maximum load of the bracket, as shown in the product description. Our larger brackets (dm101, dm102, dm103 and dm104) are universal, heavy duty and can hold up to 75kg! (165lbs), so you shouldn’t have a problem. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us. Back to top What is the VESA specification? VESA, the Video Electronics Standards Association, has developed a family of standards for mounting flat panel monitors, televisions, and other large displays to stands or walls. The VESA mounting designation refers to the screw pattern found on the back panel of your Plasma or LCD screen. The designation: VESA 100x100 means the four screw holes on the back panel of your screen are 100mm apart. Contemporary equipment usually conforms to VESA standards, and will carry the VESA designation on the equipment, in the equipment manual, or on the manufacturers’ website. Alternatively you may check the back of the screen yourself and measure the distance between the wholes. If that distance, in a straight line, is 100mm, then your equipment would be VESA 100x100 compliant. Plasma and larger screens are different and we supply a universal fitting for those. If you are unsure of your screen’s VESA standard, please email or call us for assistance. Back to top When will my bracket be delivered?
